Design - the tip of the iceberg (nice and shiny!)

Ok, so the tip of the iceberg is important too! Eye-catching print design, user-centric web design and relevant brand designs that actively engage with your audience are fundamental to our work. With our attention to detail, great layout and typographic skills we excel in taking a project from initial brief to print ready artwork or web-published page.

WE LOVE DESIGN!

It's at the heart of everything we do. However, you won't find any house style at NetInitiative - we create fresh and innovative ideas as individual as your business and afford each project the individuality and craftsmanship it deserves. Our team have a proven track record with clients as diverse as Auto Trader, The Body Shop International and L'Oreal.

Web Design

If your business wants to engage with your audience then your site should reflect this. NetInitiative design clean and functional, user-centric websites, interactive wherever possible.
Our web design process always includes all this as standard:

  • Compliant to the latest W3C standards
  • Written in XHTML and CSS
  • SEO page ranking techniques implemented
  • Google Analytics tracking setup
  • Hosted on our dedicated servers
Case study: Angel Food BakeryAngel Food Bakery

Initially Angel Food Bakery asked us to design a new corporate identity for their shop in Brighton's historic Lanes. This included shop signage, menus, point of sale, leaflets and stationery. They were so impressed with the result and customer feedback that they asked us to take on their web design. We now manage all marketing activity, both in print and online. This gives NetInitiative the distinct advantage of being able to create integrated marketing campaigns, the success rate of which is fully trackable through our analytics tools.
An invaluable insight into their customers needs. Sweet!

Brand Design

More than just a logo, your brand communicates your business spirit and is the identity that your customers will connect with. We build brands from the ground up to actively engage your customers. A poor brand design can bring down a great looking site, or ruin a well thought out marketing strategy. If a brand looks cheap, a product probably is too.

Case study: BeatsDigitalBeatsDigital

Corporate identity for BeatsDigital, the online music community. Work produced includes apparel and festival banners. Based in Brighton, BeatsDigital serve the worldwide DJ community with the latest club tracks available for download. Knowing the target audience well is always key in hitting the mark with brand design, so an initial concept was agreed over several brainstorming sessions with the client before rough ideas were drawn up, and final direction approved. The result was a stand-out identity with a logo that can be easily recognised in its full form or with the "bd" symbol alone, essential for creating identifable thumbnail "avatars" for the social networks.

Print Design

Does your marketing material effectively communicate the message and engage the audience? Whether it's a small bespoke print run or a direct mail campaign running into thousands we deliver on time and on budget. There's something about print design that just keeps us coming back for more. Perhaps its the fact that its "real" - something tangible you can pick up and play with. Those are the kind of print jobs we love.

Here's some of the stuff we've done:

  • Direct mail
  • Corporate Brochures / Annual Reports
  • Leaflets / Flyers (short run or thousands)
  • Full business stationery
  • Exhibition Graphics
  • Vehicle Livery
  • Apparel
Case study: Auto TraderAuto Trader

Marketing material produced for Auto Trader over a five year period. Auto Trader's client base is huge, servicing all of the automotive industry. From bikes to boats, cars to caravans if it's got a motor Auto Trader probably sell it. Equally diverse are their marketing needs, ranging from product literature, annual reports, corporate invites and giveaways, to direct mail. Each project is conceptually lead, usually sketching three or four ideas before producing the final print ready artwork from the chosen design. Our favourites include a ten folded people paper chain and a giant piņata filled with iPods and corporate gifts for Christmas. No idea is off limits.
